Inspiring change

Steve Edwards is executive director of the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago. He was previously a journalist and program host, with work on the BBC, Bloomberg News, PBS and numerous public radio stations around the U.S. Edwards is best know for his 14 years at WBEZ, Chicago’s NPR station, where he served as the host of the acclaimed shows The Afternoon Shift and Eight Forty-Eight.

Edwards said of us, “If you’re looking for a standard approach to standard problems, then go with a standard firm. But if you’re looking for path-breaking insights and paradigm shifts, you can’t do better than the brilliant team at GreenHouse. I’ve yet to see a group more successful at driving meaningful, inspiring change.”

We have worked with Mr. Edwards on several projects of the Insight Labs, including an effort to resolve a challenge posed by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. In addition, we appeared as occasional guests on his WBEZ program – discussing the idea bubble, youth voting and the NATO Summit.
